she started it. all i did was sit in my truck driving to work and they started like racing me and keeping up with me. and she had another girl in the car too. the sad part was i had to get to work and got off the highway...

I'm more into the stop light bingo thing. when you have alot of stop lights close together and you race to each one. Thats when torque comes into play

He only got up to 45. In Houston, there are strips of Beltway 8 that have stop lights and the speed limit varies from 60-70, I doubt there is anything illegal into how fast you get up to those speeds (unless you peel out, which they will pull you over for, happened to my uncle once on his, you ain't going to believe this, 91 Ranger)

haha i raced a newer camaro rs. had him off the start and up to 50 then i started slowing down for the stop sign. i think i suprised him with the mighty 4.0 lol

Dude, the 2.9 makes 140 hp @ the crank. Be lucky to see 110 @ the wheels. very lucky in a 20 y/o truck. But yea, I love my little 2.9. no questions there.

Yep. When I dyno'd mine (1990 with 2.9L and A4LD) it made a whooping 98hp.

I did like the first run when they were getting the dyno adjusted for it. It made 670Lb/ft of torque at 3,700RPM.
