Hello everyone. New here... Hey I have a '08 ranger (only ~ 5K miles) and my parking brake light on the dash stays on continuously (just started doing this). Truck is very well taken care of, everything is new, brake fluid full and the E-brake is released. Nothing looks out of the norm.

Checking to see if there are any ideas or known solutions?

Thanks..

Thats what I'll do (dealer worry about it), but it went off today... humm I'll keep watching it. Weird

Thanks for the replies.

I suspect it's the pedal position sensor...

Warranty that sh!t!

yea if there is only 5k on the truck its gotta be a faulty sensor. take it in and demand a new mustang as your loaner. lol.

Slight hijack: My ZX2 parking brake light would come on (intermittently at first, then constantly) when my front pads needed to be replaced. Does the Ranger do this? Or something else?

I agree about the warranty...and the Mustang!
