parking brake issue

I recently got a 2003 ford ranger with a toyota straight axle conversion and a body lift. When I got the truck there was no parking brake. I assume the parking cable was removed due to the body lift. My question is what kind of parking cable do i need to install? Ford or Toyota? This is my first truck so my knowledge is very limited. thanks
