Paint removal help


Yeah 2010 Sport. Every other ranger I see on the road is at least a 08+ same with the F-150 actually, pretty much everyone I see is also more or less new.

I guess all the older ones have probably rusted away to nothing by now :dunno:
 
Construction hu, lol Up here in alaska we say something similer. They say in Alaska there are 2 seasens winter and construction.
 
lacquer thinner won't hurt the paint, 30 years ago it would have hurt the paint, but this is 2010, todays urethane paint is far better than the enamels and lacquers they used back in the day.
 
Well I checked out that Clay bar.....Too overpriced for me. 30 bucks at Canadian Tire, and I don't see how that stuff works? I believe you that it does, but just from looking at it, it doesn't look like it should? :dunno:

I'm gonna try some of the other suggestions tonight and let you guys know what worked.
