P1401 DPFE Sensor Circuit High Input ?

My check engine light came on a while ago with a p0401 code for my egr valve. After changing the valve, a P1401 (DPFE Sensor Circuit High Input code) came up. I read up on it a bit but still don't really understand what it means.

Does anybody know what is REALLY means? Has anyone had this code before?
any help would be appreciated.

2002, 4.0 liter V6, manual transmission.
