I finally gave up with auto zone telling me what parts I need for my truck . I bought a code scanner off ebay that works good for 50.00 and I only have this 1 code on . p 1131

auto zone told me it was the air temp intake making it read wrong. Thats why i broke down and bought my own because ive just had the air intake replaced .

I think it has somthing to do with the o2 .. mine is a 95 4.0 so i have 3 of them

Im crosses my fingers that it is not fords crappy heads. :dntknw:

It sounds like the O2 sensor on the passenger's side is bad.

thanks . I unhooked my mass air flow meter and drove around for 2 days with my obd2 computer hooked up in data stream and it was running the same without the mass air flow and only 1 code on then like 70 miles later it finally threw the code for mass air flow .

Now if I buy the one for the drivers side and it still runs the same . will it hurt to pull the new one back out and try it on the other side!

Auto zones code reader said it was a dealer only fix but they told me they bet anything it was my mass air flow .. $105.23 later it still does it .

P1130 - Lack of HO2S-11 Switch, Fuel Trim at Limit The HEGO Sensor is monitored for switching. The test fails when the HO2S fails to switch due to circuit or fuel at or exceeding a calibrated limit. Electrical:
Short to VPWR in harness or HO2S
Water in harness connector
Open/Shorted HO2S circuit
Corrosion or poor mating terminals and wiring
Damaged HO2S
Damaged PCM
Fuel System:
Excessive fuel pressure
Leaking/contaminated fuel injectors
Leaking fuel pressure regulator
Low fuel pressure or running out of fuel
Vapor recovery system
Induction System:
Air leaks after the MAF
Vacuum Leaks
PCV system
Improperly seated engine oil dipstick
EGR System:
Leaking gasket
Stuck EGR valve
Leaking diaphragm or EVR
Base Engine:
Oil overfill
Cam timing
Cylinder compression
Exhaust leaks before or near the HO2S(s)
A fuel control HO2S PID switching across 0.45 volt from 0.2 to 0.9 volt indicates a normal switching HO2S.
P1131 - Lack of HO2S-11 Switch, Sensor Indicates Lean A HEGO sensor indicating lean at the end of a test is trying to correct for an over-rich condition. The test fails when the fuel control system no longer detects switching for a calibrated amount of time. See Possible Causes for DTC P1130

On data stream with my computer it reads the 3 o2 sensors and 2 are working good and ajusting the trim good .. On bank 2 the one there is ajusting my trim to 99% went the other ones are no were near that ..

ILL buy a o2 sensor and change my pcv valve since i already have it and post what happens .
