Oval port intake manifold on ranger round head?

I just want to know if anyone has ran an oval port intake manifold without swapping the ranger round head. Results?

Yes, I ran one on my 2.0 for about a year with the 78 Mustang II 2bbl intake. I didn't notice any fuel feed issues as has been noted by others (fuel pooling) or affects thereof. I did need to adjust my float bowl downward to prevent flooding for some reason.
