Hey guys,

I have an 86 Ford Ranger 2.0 and the original dash is cracked/weatherd. I would like to replace this, but am unable to source an original. I have only seen dash covers - just not what I am looking for.

Is there a way to get ahold of an original dash (online, magazine, etc)? Junkyards in my area of the country are picked pretty clean.

Thanks!

Ian

I've checked but it's never the correct picture.. so I am not sure what I am buying is the correct piece.

I'll take a picture when I get home and show you guys to verify!

which part are you looking for? the only part that can "crack" is the vinyl dash pad... what color do you want? i have a complete 83 (first gen same as yours) TAN pad and lower metal part of the dash. i have everything for it except the top metal part that butts up to the windshield

coryg: thanks for the help!!

I didn't know the dash pad was separate from the physical dash itself. I need the dash pad.

Mudhound what is JBG? Don't believe I have heard of that company.

Never mind I figured it out. Jeff's Bronco Graveyard

id go with lmc.... i got my new dash pad from them. it was kind of pricey... but it beats spending a year or two trying to find a decent one.

btw i had to trim the origianl dash just a little bit to get it to look like the original but once i got it done i was pretty happy with it

Can you guys locate these two items on LMC truck? I keep winding up in the Bronco magazine for some reason and the parts don't match obviously. :bawling:

I need just the red dash pad part.

I am also looking for this cover for the gauges in the truck. Mine isn't bad, but even if I tried cleaning/painting I don't think I could replicate the original look.
