Opinions on vinyl floor?

Its 6 of one half a dozen of the other.

I think carpet has a plastic vapor barrier so it won't do much better.

I hope i never have to smell what wet carpet soaked in clam chowdah smells like in the summer sun...

You are lucky you are at 41N 75W and not closer to 41N 95W. :icon_thumby:

And for that matter... so am I :icon_twisted:

Eh, the first number is the one I care most about, I like to stay above 38...

One day I'll move on up to 45...

I noticed some older posts mentioning buying the vinyl floor from a dealer. Is this part still available or are aftermarket or junkyard now the only options?

Ive seem vynil floor offered on fleabay, think it was around $200. Dont know how the fit would be as it’s probably from “the land of almost right”. Ive thought about it myself but still have bare steel floor with floormats thrown in.

I have bought a vinyl floor from RockAuto for my old F-150

I just put vinyl in mine during the winter. Better to do it in the summer when it softens up. It's also a good time to kill the rust and put infrared heat barrier on the floor pan.

These might be pretty decent. Not sure...

I bought a custom bench seat cover from them, and it turned out perfect. Plus their customer service is second to none!

Seems like it's pretty thick, decent quality stuff.

I need to order one and give it a try. My original vinyl floor is ripped a fair bit around the shifter bezel.

But first things first, I gotta do a rear frame clip swap on my 2001 and then start/finish the AFR head swap on my 87 along with the PimpXS and that long learning curve.

LMC also sells vinyl floors for Rangers. I’ve been eyeballing them for a while. I need to do that before I do the rear jump seat delete and build a storage cabinet/drawer system behind the seats.

Thanks everyone. I ended up ordering a gray vinyl floor from ACC to match the interior. I plan on putting down some sound dampening material underneath to cut down on the noise.

Now I just have to track down the leak before installing it. At least I'm certain it's not coming from the heater core.
