Opening rear side windows on Supercabs

The other day a late–'90s Ranger 2–door SuperCab passed me, and it had opening rear side windows. You could tell because of the three small plastic covers outside covering the holes in the windows for the hinges and latch. This had to be a rare option, because SuperCab rear side windows were almost always fixed. Were openable rear side windows ever an option in the 4–door SuperCabs?

4 door supercab trucks never had opening side windows in the rear doors. The rear door is the anchor point for the seat belts, and you could not even get a door skin for that door - if it was damaged you had to replace the entire door. Ask my how I know... The 2 door supercab trucks all seemed to have windows that could be opened.
