I'd get a double cardan joint at the tcase end and not worry about the angle of the pinion. Better ground clearance this way

Looking at double cardans online, for a few bucks more I can get a complete driveshaft with double cardan and a center slip yoke with 1310 u-joints. That would save me the fab work and balancing.
