Onthetrailto - 1993 2.3t SAS project

I'd get a double cardan joint at the tcase end and not worry about the angle of the pinion. Better ground clearance this way

Looking at double cardans online, for a few bucks more I can get a complete driveshaft with double cardan and a center slip yoke with 1310 u-joints. That would save me the fab work and balancing. Just need to get the correct length.

What would be the best way to do a slip yoke eliminator on the front output? You wouldn't want two slip joints... I would imagine it would be a pain to drill/tap that, I guess you could plug weld something on but I would think that would be last resort... I'm covered in spare parts for me but am curious as I might consider it on the 4406 on my Explorer rear output someday...
