Does anyone know what length one should be for a 96 4x4 ext. cab? I just bought one that the guy swears is out of a 99 ext. cab, but it's about 4" too long. Would the 2wd version be longer since it's not going to a transfer case?

Also, I know my stock 2-piece has the slip joint for suspension travel, the alum. one doesn't...does this sound right (this is the only alum Ranger shaft I've seen)?

Thanks

if it doesn't have the slip yoke on the drive shaft its not from a 4x4 ranger, the ones without slip into the transmission on the 2wd whereas the 4x4's have flanges on both ends.
