I'm almost ready to lift, I just need to find some shocks to fit my application, when I put the belltech's on I'll need a slightly longer shock to prevent them from acting as the bumstops. I've looked pretty much everywhere but I haven't been able to find the stock shock dimensions for a 4th generation ranger. Every site I've been to that claims to have custom shocks to fit lifted rangers just offers replacement stock sized shocks, I'd like to try for bilsteins just as a step up from the stock shocks. any help would be much appreciated.

www.shockwarehouse.com has good prices on bilsteins. If you just measure how long a shock you need, collapsed and extended all you have to do is call ANY shock manufacturer and tell them the numbers, and they'll tell you which ones to get.

This is the best method anyway. Trying to gauge which shock you'll need by how much lift you gave it, just ends you up with some that aren't correctly sized for your application.
