one 8" or two 10" subs in reg cab

Ive googled my butt of and am pretty sure ive seen the majority of custom made enclosures for the std cab ranger. some are nice, and a lot are overpriced in my opinion. So im pretty sure im just gonna just get a kicker cvt shallow mount loaded box, as i found a site where they are only 93 bucks with free shipping, and ive had one before and souded good im my s10 and if not that, build my own simple enclosure and use two shallow mount subs with a platform inbetween the seats for the amp with a cover. already have a couple amps, a couple boards of mdf and plywood and some plexiglass for the cover if decided to do that one. im just tryin to find a good setup that wont affect any legroom for the passenger, not ridicously expensive and sound good.its just my everyday ranger, and although nice with a few tasteful mods and well maintained, isnt some SPL monster. it'd be nice to have a blow through setup with 4 15" digital design 9900 series subs and a bank of amps, but it just isnt pratical. i have a 88 ramcharger i might ending up doing something like that with cuz that thing feels like a bus, lol.

Well I finally got it together. One Memphis power reference 10" DVC 4 ohm an audio enhancers truck box wired in series and a sound storm S702 350x2 MOSFET amp.got the amp used but practically brand new for 30 bucks .Bridgedd down to 8ohms gives me 300 watts RMS and the sub RMS is 250 and peak is 500 so I think she,all sound good in my lil ranger.so for about 150 bucks got a nice lil bump.

Well,I found out the hard way that SSL stuff is pure garbage.played for like 30 seconds and started puffin smoke. Went back to the pawn shop and the guy was cool enough to give me my money back, and went on 3kings.com and bought a planet audio 800 watt mono amp for like 53 bucks and I love thing, the symbol lights up and works flawelessly.its a lil more than I needed but you can always just turn down gain and remote bass boost and you have q happilly fed Memphis 10" street reference and a cool amp.stay tuned as I build custom enclosures for the back 4x6"s so you can actually hear the damn things.thanks for all halls input
