Just thought I'd take the time and say hello to everyone. I have been lurking in the shadows since getting rid of my truck " but i have returned from the dark side"
In case you don't remember the user name i'll put a couple pics with the name from when i was around for TRS Banner Across America when i was involved with the first banner.

Now the good stuff my current project a 2003 4.0 auto 4x4.

It feels good to be back in a ranger again feels like old times again. I have so many plans for this one. I have managed to find explorer bucket seats, center full length console, and a few other goodies for this truck. :yahoo: let the modding begin.

Welcome back.

One never truly turns away from the RBV. Though some may try, it's an addiction worse than meth. You can control it, suppress it, hide it with alcohol or sex even, but the RBV addiction is always in your blood yearning to take over your wallet and free time ONCE AGAIN!!

I thought I recognized the name...welcome back...there are so many variations on names sometimes (like how many dangerrangers do we have??) that its hard to tell...and changing the avatar doesn't help...lol

I remember the pics too...good to see you made it back to the station!!

Thanks I was tempted to make a fresh user name but played for over 3 hours to find my old password so I could just pick up were I left off before. I'm so happy to be back with such a great group of like minded people.

Welcome back. I agree with a couple others. You can sell an RBV, but at some point you'll be back in one. I'm paying off bills, and I'll be getting another Ranger or possibly another B2. Can't really get away from them too long. There's just something about them that make them fun to drive and own...no matter how many problems they give you. I know when I had my 84 Ranger with all the issues it had, it always managed to get me back home...The B2 had some issues that made it destined for the scrap yard due to rust and found some rust on the frame and suspension components later on that made it no longer roadworthy but someone got some pretty good parts from it I'm sure.

I'll be back in a Ranger or B2 at some point just don't know when.

I know the feeling. My stepbrother has a used car lot and has a couple junk rangers and explorers that we have been cannibalizing parts off of.
For some strange reason my truck has the nic name of the johnny cash truck at the car lot :dunno:

I can take the body lift off my to do list now. Just have to find a nice warm garage again soon to take care of some surface rust under my carpet before the rust gods curse this thing.:icon_pepsi: It's amazing how much money I have since I quit boozing every day.

Welcome back. Yes, addictions are a whore for both your time and money. Never had the alcohol problem but I wasted a ton of money on a 35+ year Skoal habit. Gave it up when I realized it was costing me $6.50 per day. ($2,372.50 per year) Still miss that pinch of snuff but my health has improved and my wallet is fatter! Now, I can afford to work on the Ranger! GO RBV!!!!

Doofy, I can certainly relate to that I'm chewing a can of Copenhagen a day so for me it's one bad habit at a time.

Grey_04, ain't that the truth! I knew I was addicted when I quit spitting and just swallowed that juice. I've been snuffless for 5 years, and yet, I still find myself reaching for that can! Good luck with that Ranger.
