Yeh I'm prolly just gonna do xj coils and are the eb springs a softer rate than the Full size bronco and F-150 springs or would they be the same. Leaning more towards the xj coils.

Depends on what brand they are. Some companies (Deaver for example) have EB and fullsize-specific coils (200PPI & 300PPI respectively), others do not (simply rating it for less lift under a fullsize).

I've been 100% satisfied with my Skyjacker XJ coils. They have not lost one bit of height at all coming up on 4 years now (contrast that to the Rancho XJ coils I had before, they lost a whopping 2" of their lift after just two years use, I had to put big spacers under them to keep it from sagging and leaning).

My coils were used so they were already somewhat broke in for me. With the trucks weight on them they are at 19ish inches compressed, 21 inches free length.
