Well I just want to start off and day that I think it’s steering but I guess I don’t know. Just to start I’m fairly new to the ranger station forum and I just wanted to say what an awesome and useful site. It has been a ton of help and everyone seems super helpful.

Anywho, on to my problem. So a couple weeks ago I snapped my reverse band and had to have my transmission rebuilt. So today I drove it back home and went into reverse and started to turn and I noticed my steering was a little shaky and pulsating a little bit. Definitely feels like my steering. I decided to open up my hood and noticed some fluid had hit my roof insulation on my drivers side and there is a bunch of fluid (none dripping)down from there on part of my fuse box and down all the way around my driver side wheel (suspension, tie rod, etc..) and way below my power steering towards my inner tie rod cover. It clearly looks like it sprayed up to my hood insulation and dripped down. I can’t see any leak when I had my car running and turning the wheel in place and it doesn’t look like I’ve lost any fluids. Anyways all help would be appreciated

Thanks everyone.

If you move the steering too much with the engine off it can cause it to blow out of the reservoir. Check the level, refill, turn the steering lock to lock with the engine running, check again and see if it works.
