My credo
Never put off ‘til tomorrow what you can put off indefinitely
I’m also making progress on Rick’s Ranger Rig. I put the 10” rims on today and swapped the wrangler 235/75/15s to the 87 & I’ve been getting the bugs out.

I’m hoping to swap out the grille tomorrow, so I was looking at it today. I spotted these shims for the marker light and headlight. I think they’re aftermarket. I’m pretty sure they’re pine. I plan on keeping the truck for a while. Do you think I should use oak or spruce instead? Do you think I can reuse these? Cut another bush up? A QT cup is too big...

Think Ford used cypress in the Model T, I'd suggest that ;)

You guys are funny but Henry Ford used to insist that his suppliers ship parts in wooden boxes, then the boxes would be used to make floor boards. The wood scraps were turned into charcoal and sold as Kingsford charcoal.

If they work, reuse them. Those lights should have safety wires plugged in on the back in case they fall out.

You mean like the twist ties that come with the bread?
