Odometer not working

Hi guys, I recently replaced the speed sensor on my 95 XL 2.3l manual transmission, after replacing the sensor the speedometer now works, but the odometer and tripmeter still don't work, I have two sets of clusters and they don't seem to work on any of them, what should I check?.

Fairly common issues with Ranger electric speedo/odo setups

Odometer uses an electric motor to turn a plastic worm gear, most common is the plastic gear breaks but motor can fail as well.

Couple of videos
All 1995 and up Rangers had same issue

Recent poster also had 2 instrument clusters with no odometer, turn out one had bad gear and the other a bad motor, so he swapped parts and got a working one

Looks like I have the same issue, one motor isn't working and the gear is broken on the other one, I replaced the gear and will take it for a spin later to check if it is working

Fixed!, broken gear on one cluster and a bad motor on the other.
