Appreciate any assistance you can provide on identifying these (what I'd expect) non-OEM wires.

My uneducated guess is that this might have been for lighting connections in the bed - - maybe a bed cap/smaller tent topper, etc., however no noticeable pass-thru to the bed. . . Thought maybe the P.O. was an audiophile, but when I hooked up a set of speakers to the wires (with radio on) got nothing…

Ranger is a 2011 FX4 (Canadian build), with 5 speed transmission.

Again, thanks in advance for any assistance for the identification. . . .

That looks like speaker wire. Hard to tell on a phone.

Agree; the clear wires with blue fork terminals look like speaker wires. Based on the number of them, my guess is that at one time an amplifier or multiple amps, was mounted back there.

Looks like some janky speaker wiring for whatever the previous owner had going.

Definitely 4 sets of speaker wire there. Wonder where the power wires are?

Yep, after I posted that I realized it was speaker wire, so guess it was some PO speaker/amplifier set-up. . . Wasn't too janky a set up, and at least the wires were pretty well organized in the OEM loom. I'm no audiophile, but guess if I want an upgrade, some of the work already done.

Thanks for the input, all. . .

I didn't think it was all that janky...

Trust me... I've seen janky

I bought a Mustang that had a single fold of painter tape over the speaker wires twisted together. Nothing on any of the power wires. The memory connection was welded to the metal frame in the dash without blowing any fuses. It just drained the battery overnight.
