hey guys, thanks fer havin me, i gots a question, i have a 1995 and a 1994 ford ranger, both trucks manual shft 5 spd, the '95 is 3.0 2wd,
the '94 is 4x4 with the 4.0L both run super great,

now the question, my 4x4 the '94 has the M50D 5spd manual, lost out third gear, so i had it rebuilt, a month later i lost reverse and 5th gears, i replaced it with the same M50D and that lasted a week, busted the tailshaft clean off, replaced that with the M50D-HD from a 2001 rig, its been 5 months and now it just grinds in any gear, its not the clutch, its in the trans, now i have three transmissions here and i need to put a tailshaft in one, or replace the gears in other one, , (really now) question, is there a link on how to do this or is there any kind of hope? lol thanks

Howdy and welcome to TRS!

It should be possible depending on what exactly is damaged in each one. I'd look a for an M5OD rebuild thread. Make sure it's for the R1 used in the Rangers not to R2 used in the fullsize trucks.

hey guys, i got a big problem, my 94 4x4 ranger it just grinds in any gear, i replaced the transmission AGAIN and it still does this, i didnt rebuild the trans this time, just got a whole new tranny and IT STILL JUST GRINDS, I REALLY THINK IT could be the clutch itself came undone? any one ever hear of this?
