i picked them up from broncograveyard. Before i ordered i'd called thm about four times and talked to four different people quetsioning the warranty. All said the same thing "warrantied as long as it wasn't a joint failure" (broken cross shaft) so it should be a free replacement short of shipping. I was happy to find the remaining peices of the joint to have if they question it. First thing in the morning i'll be making my phone call.

(I think) I am familiar with lots and lots of equipment, but, WTF uses those chains??

Loving that pic. Sry about your axle trouble....

I have heard that the yukon chromoly shafts are prone to breakage.

They're drive chains for a tracked piece of equipment, the pads are missing, thats all.

I have heard that the yukon chromoly shafts are prone to breakage.

I haven't heard anything good from them lately. I have a couple buddies with rigs down due to failed ring and pinions, and a shaft or two.....

That thing is flexing pretty good. What springs are you running up front? Stock rear Ranger springs or something else?

most of a 91-94 4dr explorer minus the overload leaf. I chose that leaf set-up cause the pin is offset on the leafs and gave me the forward axle mount location.

that vid was pretty impressive. I'd like to drive my truck through that just cause I know I'd have some bitchin 3 wheel action goin on lol.

so uhhh....when you putin a 60 in or 60 outers with a 35 spline d44 carrier?

it dont matter what 44 alloys you buy they will die faster then even stock 60 35 splines.. you either need longfield cv's or 60's. and your gonna bust those too:sad:, just not so often.

one problem i have been having with the 60's is ripping the d shafts off all the time. i need to get away from the 1330's and get 1310 or 1350 stuff. damn straps wont hold, or the crosses deform or bust:icon_confused: been runnin van yokes too

i wrecked my last jeep t case last weekend and am back to big ford 208's. all my aluminum trannies and t cases and ladders roofing tools were ripped from my one van before i could move it up here so i am at a big loss with all my parts gone:sad::sad:

need to get my other van up here before that one is found and lightened:mad:

seems your getting away with not supporting the leafs too. man talk about balance eh? i wish i could get away with that, the flex and ride are nice and actually livable by comparison.

That Sucks about your stuff, I am getting a Low pinion HD D44 (Ford) later this week, getting it pretty cheap, just gonna get it to have for future use. But i am looking for a ford 60, but not "Looking" to really spend anything on it.

well i stuffed my beat to hell fenders back on it, and took it to DAds mud bog yesterday. Did poorly, but after reveiwing the video i noticed that my RF tire was not powered. So i took it apart today and found the RF hub to be bad. Must have broken it at OSTC/Spring Fling, and didn't know it. Why couldn't the LF hub fail instead of breaking my yukon damn it.

Does it flex decent with the fenders on it? Or do the tires just chew away at them?

theirs barely a fender on it, but i have them trimmed so they do not rub them

heres some vid (9 minutes long)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pJAEkqJXLrA

I won two solid diff covers (Gift Certs) in a raffle they held during the event SCORE!!!!!!! spent $40 in gas towing, $15 entrance fee and won $240 in merchandise. Its awesome, cause i was planing on buying a pair of covers for the B2 and just didn't have the money to spend.:woot:

I am thinking i may push my front axle another inch forward from where its at now, my pitman arm is kinda close to my drag link and i could use another inch further forward on my front driveshaft.
