Norwegian tranny swap

OK, my A4ld is toast, having it rebuildt is nearly 3000usd....It is a 1987 2.9
4x4

So I am going for a manual swap.
Have located several Mazda m50od-r1, so that is not a problem,

The problem is to find a pedal assembly, as there is roughly 5 Ranger 1987-88 here in Norway....

Will a Mazda pedal assembly fit???

I hope someone can give me quick answer????

Looks like it`s a automatic, but with the 4.0 its nice with automat I think.

Have no idea, mine is a orginal 4.0, but I guess there are much information here on this forum about this.

Only had mine Ranger for a short time, and only drove it home from Oslo 2days ago on "prøve skilt" (Norwegian plates for testing\moving trucks whitout registrations plates).
Must wait for better weather so i can make space in my garage before starting on my project.

If you have the ford 7.5 and dana 28 axels, you should probably change them with the ford 8.8 and the dana 35.

Mine is a stock car, but for now my main issue is sorting out the tranny...
RATS wants 20000+mva to rebuild and strenghten 'my a4ld, so that wont happen.
Won't swap any axels anytime soon...

Just need to get this up an going

It`s probably some one who will rebuild your tranny cheaper, but i think the cheapest is to buy a donor car or a used tranny.
There are som cheap explorer`s and ranger`s on www.blocket.se also. If you are going to buy a donor car I might be interested in som parts my self !
I live in Steinkjer in Trøndelag. How about you ?
