anyone want a 31 spline 8.8 with disc's? i picked up my 3/4 ton 44 with hd hubs and a dana 70 today so my 8.8 im my truck is coming out as soon as i find a buyer.

You're killing me Wes. I am contemplating it, but I just bought new shoes for my 8.8...

thats true wes, but its just gonna suck when it does break on something lame... I guess it could hold up well, make sure you have good u joints, some ctms or yukons should last a bit. btw we need to go play, I am dying to get out...

Put a 14 bolt under it. I regret my 60.

the 14 bolts are stronger right of the bat without upgraded axle shafts, the carrier is adjustable and you can mount a yoke/pinion guard.
the down is that the pumpkin is as big as a dana 70. but, you can shave it.
to each there own though. 60's are great but in my opinion 14 bolts are a little better... and the pinion guards are pretty sweet.

14 bolt is the way to go to some degree but a shaved dana 60 is close to the clearance of a 44, a shaved 14 is close to the size of a stock 60... they are boat anchors. definitely stronger tho.
