We all seem to have misread the original post about it already being done.
In any case, 2,400 at 60 in 5th is probably fine to the most part if you don't travel often on highways with 70 and higher speed limits (I generally don't). So, I agree with the sentiment in that regard. For those that do, it might be a bad choice.
In my case, since I don't plan on going any bigger than 32's and I don't travel on 70+ mph highways often, I plan to regear my 2011 to 4.56. With the factory 3.73's and 31 inch tires, it's a bit tall and the truck can struggle with hills, especially if I have something on the roof or I'm towing (in 4th gear). 4.10 would put me back where I was with the 235/75R15's but 4.56 will get me where I want to be with the low end grunt for off road and towing. I'll just have to eat the penalty a bit when I do travel on 70+ mph highways. Once 32's are put on, it might negate some of that penalty but still keep me in the tow/haul/off road range I want to be in.
