Noobie motor mount questions...

Just becareful on that. What I am trying to point out is that I used those same mounts with AA plates, take a peek at Iron Ranger's AA plates - they offset the mounts back as shown in this post - second pic down:

Using those mounts directly on the cross member might make cooling a bit more difficult to get situated.

Here's where my engine sets, plates are essentially in the same spot as Iron Ranger's, using the mounts mentioned above:

I used an electric fan so position was not a prob for me, that was on an 89 ranger, for my 96 I will use explorer V8 mounts...
