No interior lights after releasing handle....

Passenger side works fine. Driver's side messed up.

I open the door from the outside and the int lights come on, but as soon as I release the door handle, they go out. If I open the door and continue to hold the outside handle UP, they stay on.

At first it only acted up when it was cold outside, but now is doing it all the time....

Adjustment in the latch? Switch contacts?.....

You're lucky, the switches usually stick the other way, i.e. the light stays on all the time. Get inside the door and drown the thing in wd40, that should hold it for a while.

Really no need to "get inside the door", usually.
Just liberally douche the latch with WD40 or other spray lube and actuate the door latch repeatedly. Some just open/shut the door repeatedly, but I use a screwdriver shank in the door's latch and cycle it many times.

Thanks guys...I gave the latch a few shots with some spray silicone, fixed it right up.
I love it when a fix is that easy. lol

Awwww yea, stumbled upon a fix for my problem, haha. Love this forum. I wasn't too worried about the issue I have, but it bothered me and I just never really gave it priority over the other things. I just always went, "why doesn't this have the same exposed door jam switch that other trucks have!!!!
