Hi y'all. First post. This has been happening on/off for a few months. Now seems permanent. Sitting in the driveway.
PATS light is normal (blinks every couple seconds)
Replaced Ignition Switch
Removed and tested Starter (tested good...after reinstall truck started...until a few days later back to same no joy condition)
Battery brought to parts store and tested good.
Do not get 12 volts at brown/white wire at starter when key is put to start
Do not get 12 volts at starter relay (same wire) when key is turned to start (I do get 12 volt at constant Yellow wire)
No voltage at #24 fuse when I turn key to start.
What next? Continuity checks?
Dad says 'rig a switch to the cab' Me 'I want to fix it back to normal' probably cause I do not know how to do that yet...
Does the plastic center of the NSS (DTR) sensor supposed to stay stationary when gear is shifted?
