When I disconnect my exhaust side coils. I have no Pinging But I reconnect the exhaust side Coil the pinging comes back. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thank you.

If memory serves, the exhaust side plugs are the ignition plugs. The intake side is for emissions purposes and doesn't fire as hot. I also believe they fire on the exhaust stroke rather than during the compression stroke.

The dual plug four cylinder engines usually run just fine with the intake side plugs not working right but not so much with the exhaust side since they are the main spark plugs.

sgt is close, '95 and later Lima engines both always fire at the same time, in the older ones only the exhaust side fired at cranking and the intake side started after it got to run rpm but at that point they fired at the same time with the same energy, yeah they're only there for emissions and more complete combustion but it'll run on either set...

My only guess is you have a couple plug wires mixed up.
