Newer instrument panel in older truck

I have a gage cluster from a "newer" truck that has a tach. My truck is a 86 "without" a tach. The only gages I need are the gas gage and the speedo.I have aftermarket gages for amp, oil pressure and temp. Has anybody done this swap. I need to figure out the connections.
