Was it thinner on one side? I have a couple shims for pinion angle that fit that description. They were recommended by the extended shackle packaging.

No, it’s even across the 4-5” length. Not a pinion angle shim. Possibly what was mentioned before, at home remedy for leafs sagging on the drivers side.
 
The 4” lift is finally on. Now to replace the rear brake lines, cut the fenders, and get to work on the interior cleanup.
