New to CB's, advice and wisdom wanted.

If this is for trail use, use the internal meter. It isn't that important. Honestly, from a truck driver, there is nothing on the CB to hear unless it's a friend which will be close.

That's what I was thinking. I just want to be able to here the next rig over not anyone 6 miles away. Sure it's cool but I don't need it.

a few things i noticed -i thought i saw barjan antenna-not easily tunable, can only cut to make shorter, tuning radios vs.tuning antenna- peeking & tuning your radio is not bad but not required (tech goes inside radio to make 4watts swing 12-15 watts not legal but its done all the time)I doubt NAPA is doing this. Setting swr on the other hand is much needed and EASY ,$10 meter and 5 min youtube vid. now this is something napa and alot of others might do for $30 but once they get you to 2.0:1 they will quit,if you have your own stuff you can keep messing with yours til you get as low as possible,we got a $15 swr meter and watched a few videos now we got down to 1.3 on one and 1.5 on the others.then YOU can charge $30 to set swr:icon_thumby:
