Well, at least new to me... Picked up a 2003 base model with a fiberglass bed cover. Will try to post some pics when I get a chance. I am liking the 2.3l, getting almost 26 mpg! Now, I got the bug and want a 4x4 beater I can fix up.
This one will be good for hauling equipment, I play guitar in a few bands, so always dragging gear around. See ya 'roun, buy me a beer if you see me...

Hi and welcome to TRS~!

The 2.3 from that year has good power and fuel economy...and there is a section below for that particular engine...good to have a look through when you have time to see what others have found and ways to fix things when needed.

I've heard they are very reliable with only minor issues (mostly) so you might not have to worry about it for a long time...

Enjoy and play happy songs for the people tonight...:)

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply 88! Looking forward to some minor upgrades, wheels first, the steel rims are butt ugly...:icon_rofl:

Yes, most steelies are ugly...but perfect for things like dump runs or winter slop...

One thing at a time was all I could usually handle...and pictures will help if you can post them...everyone loves ogling the rides...:)
