Got the rails boxed and crossmembers installed. Now on to building the floating rear end with ladder bars.

didn't ford have a concept ranger like this? either way its a cool project.

Glad to see your going about it the right way. Remember reading about the Thunderbolt in a couple of magazies. Just wasn't that fast in the quarter. Said that it smoked the tires the whole way. Looks like you've got a handle on that also. Got to keep following.

The thunderbolt was counterproductive in my opinion. They grafted on the ft clip, the f250 rear end, then put on a cobra blower that is less efficient all running the heavy wheels. I'm building a different concept using the same theory. I am going light weight. Weld wheels, stock susp, and loosing anything not needed.

God, this thing is going to be so bad. Keep us up todate on this bad daddy!

Thanks for the support! I will need much help to make all this happen. Here is a few pics of the floating rear end finally installed. I will put the ladder bars on when final ride height is obtained with all components installed.

Started setting motor in and fabricating mounts and exhaust. I really didn't realize how tall the mod motors are. I won't have any stealth with crap hanging over the hood but i refuse to loose the blower!
