pics or it didn't happen

I believe the mod 20 can and will fire if dropped on a live round? I can't remember. I do know it has a floating firing pin attached to the hammer. Take care if carrying with 6 loaded chambers. What barrel length did you get?

Yea you’re right no pics didn’t happen. I'll get a pic tonight and post it. I appreciate the safe handling post; never have loaded the last round in any of my revolvers. I gave my son my compact 38 special for a back up carry (ankle holster) after I got this one and before the jokes start, No I'm not planning on carrying it in a ankle holster:icon_rofl: I think the 8 3/4 barrel. The guy only wanted 5 bills for it, the reloading dies, a four gun hard side case, an old holster and 2 boxes of cartridges. No I don't have any reason to believe it's hot. He works for TSA.

Since you'e jacking this thread anyway, enough talk. Let's see those targets guys.

j/k - the only handgun I've ever shot was a black powder navy colt replica a friend at work got. I'd have been lucky to hit a watermellon at 20 yards. I'm sort of a rifle/shotgun guy.

here's my favorite shotgun:

Yes it's a cheezy old 870, but look again - it's really an 870 lightweight special. English stock, 20" barrel. Super light to carry in the field. I've only seen one other one around and he loved his too.

I've wanted to get a nice Browning side by side, but you can't if you don't want a pistol grip. Wazzup with that? I love English stocks.

Fair warning on the Ruger. DO NOT cup the grip in your off hand while shooting heavy loads. That sharp, wooden grip will hurt!!! LOL!

the smith was changed in 82 from wood to hoge grips because the wood would splinter. no waiting period in CO.
I'll raise your new ruger with my AK. I sold my mini 14 to buy my b2.
your 870 reminded that the supervisior at work has this on his truck plate and it was not a vanity plate 870-SKS
