Definately only use the professional line. Also with any enamal paint waxing is required more often than on two stage paint jobs.
I notice that while Rust-Oleum makes several versions of clear in rattle cans, there's NO clear in the PROfessional line-up... durn. I like to wax as little as possible... once a year seems about right, lol.
Their 'Safety Red' (PRO) is really quite a bright FERRARI red. I've used it in rattle cans on chassis components, finished in 'Crystal Clear Enamel' from R-O's regular line up (had it laying around)... done recently, so no clue how it holds up to water and gravel strikes.
Your "stainless panel" tailgate is thee best version ever... wish I could fit one onto my '99.
