New old guy for the forum!

Just learned about this forum from a member. I have a very basic 2006 Ranger, small cab, 2 wd and five speed. Located in central New York. Boght the Ranger a couple years ago from an small dealer near Washington DC. Probably paid too much but wanted something without the normal central NY rust.

I'll be turning 75 in a few weeks but spent 99% of my working years as a mechanic in the stone quarry just up the road.

It's a very basic small cab short box 2 wheel drive in basic black, five speed manual trans with the small 4 cylinder engine. At least it does have factory A/C!

Only real change since I got it was to replace the original radio with a new one that will play tunes from a flash drive. Original radio/CD player started developing a display problem which I was told is somewhat common.
