New mud terrains on!

'87 Ranger 4x4 is now running 31x10.5x15 ProComp Xtreme M/Ts. I had a very used set of 33x12.5 BFG Trail T/As before, and the truck was very sluggish with only the 2.3 pushing those on 3.73 gears. So I decided to step down to 31s, and go with an aggressive mud terrain tire. The wheels are from a Jeep, and had a backspace of 4.75, which hit the tie rod ends up front. Scored a set of 1" wheel spacers for $100, which puts me back to a 3.75" backspace, with the 15x7 wheels. Explorer springs in the rear, '92 extended cab springs up front. I'll get some pics tomorrow, when the weather is a bit nicer.

Only on the road to get to the trail. Otherwise, the truck sits at home.

And yes, the fenders need some work. I'm considering the universal fender flares that summit has.

I had those same tires on my truck. They are a great tire. Wore fine and relatively quite . Sold them to a guy in my 4x4 club with well over 80% tread and 2 years old.
