Hey everyone!

My poor B2 has sat in my driveway untouched for years and our Canadian weather has not been very good to her. I'm a total newbie so I don't know all your fancy lingo but I have a few friends that are very willing to put in the work to help me out.

It runs and drives, but not in reverse. Tranny rebuild/replacement to come, along with a 5.0L swap and possible axles. I always set my goals too high for my skill level but also in the plans are: total interior removal and colour change, body off, sandblast and paint frame, find a 2" cowl hood to replace the current one that is nearly rusted through.

If anyone has any leads on cowl hoods or cab visors it would be greatly appreciated. I've collected 2 different visors that were for the appropriate year Ranger but neither of them will fit without cutting them and adjusting the width.

All work is being done in a private shop, using outside labour only when necessary to save on costs. Used parts when we can find them. The two mechanical guys set a timeline for end of summer for this work to be complete.

Any thoughts? Advice?

Welcome!

If you are doing a V8 swap soon don't put a dime in your current transmission. It won't work with a V8.
