New member 5.0 swap

i have not looked at the video...i dont have time, but if you watch that and get a manual for 24-30 bux.....go to a u pull junkyard......i am confidant you can go and pull apart a 2wd/buy the needed parts and do the swap yourself for under 80-90 bux total if your unit is in good shape and working excellent.

you dont have to totally bust it down....just pull the sub assemblies and swap out the shaft...if it comes apart good you wont even need gaskets....but do not count on that...at least get a pan/filter setup and pump/valve body gasket.

i have done this many many many times over the years....especially with the a4ld.

but 95 percent of the time it is to go from 2wd to 4x4.
