Curious....I am replacing a fuel pump & "things" on a 08 Ranger 4.0 FX4. High miles (160ish), so I'm looking at the whole fuel system as long as I'm in there. I have some spare Ford Racing injectors, Ford Racing p/n 9L3E-FA (long skinny purple). They were cleaned & flow tested by The Injector Shop & I didn't find a use for them, sooo...
I dont really feel the need to replace them, but I have the parts & time. At 160K or more its time for attention also. I think I could gain a slight mileage/power increase using the Ford racing injectors & cost would be 0.00 These are the 24lb EV6 body injectors. Are those the same fitment as the stock 08 injectors?
