As above. Swanzey, NH, and yes, Justin Thyme! I've a beloved 'ol Plain Jane 2010 Ranger 2x that's dying of New England Cancer and so, time to find a new(er) one.

I used to be EMT but now, retired. I am still a licensed RN, not as good as EMT of course... not at all.... really....

Welcome! We eat pictures of old Rangers, feed us~

My wife is starting her 2 year program after 4 years of prerequisites, and also has discovered that old TV show called "Emergency". I'm surrounded by nurses. Not a bad thing.

What's your pleasure for a rust free Ranger? Found anything yet. Here in Texas there are a few good examples available.

Being a fellow Northeasterner may I make a recommendation? Search southern states for another Ranger. Doing so will allow you to get a fairly rust free option but at the expense of travel/transport. Most of the Rangers in our area have been eaten and abused by the salt so even minor repairs can become a daylong project.

Welcome to TRS.

Welcome, from your eastern neighbor.

When you get yourself a new rig... Have it treated with NHOU.

welcome!!

Haha....I'm not sure what to do. I took all the $ I had put aside for a new(er) Ranger and bought NVDA at $92. Perhaps I'll do some rust work on my rig and keep it another year, it runs excellent, has new wheels (Strange tale, I bought true OEM wheels from Walmart, identical to OEM) new brakes, new exhaust. Yes, Texas, I have a friend in VA, but then it's ship it back, and take time off from work, difficult situation. I'm leaning towards a 2021>2024 used and undercoat it. I'm partial to FluidFilm, and Blmpkn suggested UHOIL. The FluidFilm impressed me. I had replaced a passenger side door that I bought for $125 from a junkyard for $125. It had been professionally reskinned. I pulled the panel and sprayed FluidFilm down the bottom. A few months later, you could see a 3" line on the outside of my truck, where the FluidFilm had traveled and dust had stuck to it.
