Hello all, new here.
I'm trying to get into the world of trail riding was curious to know what lift to get. I've been reading a lot of the tech articles and cruising the forum. I've decided to get a lift. I'm thinking either a Rough country 4" suspension lift or a 2" supreme suspension lift because of the price points. I want to hit trails like the one in East TN Royal Blue called the Sand Mines trail. I'm not sure if 31s and the 2" would be enough. Any expertise would be greatly appreciated.
I have a stock '97 Ranger XLT extended cab. 8.8 rear and Dana 35 in front... (I think) and its setting on 235x75 15 Kumho Road Venture AT. (she is white and nerdy and my daily driver)
About the supreme suspension kit it is cheap, too cheap? Do the spacers for the front coil springs last?
The tech article about the RC said it may damage the axle housing, is that a real big issue? Also, that it may not line up to stock holes in the frame, any input there?
Be gentle to my "bootness" (newness)... Thanks
