I lurked here a while back, and still do. great info guys
anyways, i figured i would join (or rejoin?) and say hey, I'm in Austin, Texas.
I have a 99, 4x4, 4.0, 5 speed.. got it stock, then did a body lift and 33s, then an rcd on top of it with 35s, then destroyed that and SAS'd it. its still on 35s and for the sake of the axles and my right foot 35s are probably gonna be the biggest i go for now, maybe 36s.
its still a work in progress, i ran out of money. I still need to do cross over steering, reid racing knuckle and ballistic fab steering arm. then gear the 9" and lock/spool it, then get a front drive shaft... My plans after that include some 3.5" lift 63" chevy springs and some longer shackles, paired with some 2" waggy lift springs and then i'll pull the body lift and trim the fenders accordingly.
its a really eerie feeling when you look at your DD and this is what you see.. then you really ask yourself if your 100% sure you know what your doing.
i had lots of help from a friend of mine and towards the end another buddy jumped in and made a few vital pieces that we had forgotten until the last minute.
here's a few pics of how it sits now.
