My credo
A legend to the old man, a hero to the child...

To me it sounds like those arcade racing games walmart had in their entrance foyer in the late 90's.

They want 85-90k for a fridge pretending its a slot car with fake vroom noises and they REALLY expect this to sell?

Its a shame to cause the new charger i think is pretty sharp.

Killing the hemi is the end of dodge/ram.

Thoughts? (Please stay non political)

New charger is designed to accept the Hurricane I6...

No 6.2 love?
I mean yes.....but its supercharged.

Muscle cars should be big displacement N/A engines...

Like if ford jammed a godzilla in a mustang :)

sad to see such majesty fall from grace.

It’s a Dodge… no great loss.

But it is sad to see another classic muscle car get its ‘nads cut off. Ford with the Mustake Mach E, Chevy killing the Camaro (again), now this.

They’ve been doing the fake noise thing for years.

Euro cars have been doing it even before electric was a thing. Volkswagen and Jaguar have been putting speakers in the trunk to make car noises.

It could be worse, I guess. Quiet a few EVs are so quiet that they have noise making systems in them to alert those around them that they are there. Mostly pedestrians. But with that being said, some ICE cars are so quiet that they can sneak on you as well.

Speaking of the Mach E...

Ive seen a few headlines touting "the mach e outsells the mustang for first time ever!"

Yeah....lets compare an enthuisast car against a midsize crossover (one of the hottest segments) and tout it as a win.

Its pretty pathetic the lengths the EV crowf has been going to lately to keep up this.....idiotness.

Lets see it outsell something comparable....like a explorer.

But back to the charger...who wants to take bets how long untill some V8 (probably a hemi) finds its way back in?

Just my opinion.

I don't know, I don't really see newer Mustangs like I used to either, I wouldn't be surprised if their sales are down too.
