Hey folks, just call me squeaky boots. My Ariats squeak every time i get on anything besides dirt. Anyways, I just got a hold of what was supposed to be my first truck, an 88 Ranger XLT Ext Cab. Its not my first Ranger, but it is proving to be a fun project. If I could get a hold of a good vacuum diagram, it would be a big help. Thanks for reading and rock on!

Just checked the Tech Library...the vacuum line diags are not there...so maybe check the on-line repair manual...

You just need to log in, find the vehicle year/make/model and then select the engine...you may need to dig through these a bit...haven't spent much time on the 2.9 myself...but maybe someone else can provide you with what you need...

I'm sure it is not complicated...probably only one or two lines on that engine though...

Thanks for the info bud. I'll check into it soon. And not that many lines on there, but one or all of them is definitely leaking.
