Hey everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Cole but SilverStreak is my Rangers name. Got a 2003 silver XLT regular cab 2.3L paired up to a 5 speed manual.
I work at Goodyear so I have some good mechanical experience but I am still learning at 22 years old.

Truck is running great with 142,000 coming up. Just a few things I'd like to ask about (which if I don't get answers I'll just post in the other forums on the site)
1. Anyone mounted an LED light bar in the gap behind the front license plate in the bumper? What did you do??

2. Running 5W20 full synthetic and got a minor rear main leak starting, as well as some seeping from the valve cover. Planning on changing out the PCV to help the top end, but would changing to 10W30 full synth be better for the seals? I just changed it so I won't be changing it until it gets warm again (about March here in NC).

3. What years of rangers could I snatch a rear sliding window out of? I don't want my single pane window.

4. Anyone have any 15" chrome bullet wheels they want to sell? I've got 15" explorer wheels on there and want to upgrade the look.

Welcome.For the oil I would stick with the 5w20 0r 5w30. You can get high mileage oil the has seal conditioners in it to stop small oil leaks.
For the rear widow look at 1998 and newer standard cab Rangers.
For your LED lights you can use the Factory Day time running light wire to power it. That's what I did on my LEDs. See this tread for more information. http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=150366
