Truck was a 4.0/auto, just finished after about 150 hrs of work putting in a 302 from a 96 explorer and a 98 F150 manual trans. Part list:
96 explorer 302
98 V6 F150 trans
Advanced adapters M5R2 to BW 1354 adapter
89 mustang A9M computer/dizzy/coil and other sensors
New RJM industries universal wiring harness<-------AMAZING VERY SIMPLE 3 easy wires to hook up and she fired right up, In my opinion the ONLY way to go.
Stock 4.0 radiator
Summit 16" fan and relay kit
Transdapt oil filter relocation kit
89 convertable mustang motor mounts
89 mustang oil pan/pickup/Lokar dip stick
James Duff longtubes 2.5" collector
Magnaflow dual 2.5" in single 3" out Y pipe
Magnaflow 3" high flow cat
Flowmaster 3" in dual 2.5" out Super 44 muffler
The only part of the exhaust that is not stainless are the headers
heres a very few pics of the swap. IF anyone has questions i'd be glad to help. The HARWOOD swap manual made this a piece of cake when mated with the new harness. Truck runs GREAT could not be happier. First drive was an hour trip one way, i was not one bit concerned...wife was though.

I started the swap because i fell of a 4 foot ledge offroading and put a nice rock right though the bell on the tranny and cracked it.

The tires a squeeling because of the locker, my uncle thought it just had that much power pulling out from an idle in 2nd gear:icon_confused:

Great info for those that are always asking the same questions.
