I just got off the phone with wheelsnext.com after a week of not hearing from them about my order for craiger rims and toyo tires. they tell me that my order has been paused because my address didn't match my credit card address. the discrepancy was the word PLACE on order info and my credit card using the abbreviation PL instead of place and they made me change it before they would ship it. also they said they would call me to tell me when they confirmed the info matched. I was never called and had to wait on hold for an hour to be told that. then after all that there will be 200$ worth of brokerage fees on a 1000$ purchase and to top it all off the wheels would have to be custom made and would take 6 weeks to be made. you would think they would mention that on the product description. 2 day shipping bullshit:icon_rofl:

i will never use them again oh and they had already taken the money from my credit card regardless of the fact the "addresses didn't match":thefinger:

forgot to mention when your on hold for about a hour there is no music all you listen to is dead silent static and they randomly transfer you leaving me confused when a new guy says hello and i need to start all over again. needless to say the order is now canceled and im now waiting for my money to get refunded on my credit card.

anybody know a good place to get some aftermarket rim/tires for 4x4? i got have a set of ATX rims and general grabber ATs in my shopping card at tirerack.com but im still looking for something better.

that's the thing about those dot com places. they can **** you all sorts of different ways and there's not much you can do except cancel your order and go somewhere else. it may be a tad more, but i'll just go to my local 4 wheel parts store and see them face to face. i have a buddy that works at just tires, so i can get tires for not too much. but hey, at least we can all learn from your situation.

I just went with tire rack got some nicer tires but they cost me 400$ more but the whole process was very easy and customer service was 100%

the reason I didn't go locally is being in canada stuff costs alot more.

i had them shipped to the border and il just drive them across. it saves 400$ in customs and brokerage fees.

it sucks getting screwed by an online company, i went throught the same shit with dealercostcaraudio.com when i was buying my jl subs. i did eventually get my money back and just bit the bullet and bought them from crutchfield, they cost more $ but they came from an authorized dealer so they actually have a warranty in the event that i needed to use it. ive learned to do a quick search on any company im about to do online business with just to see if there is any feed back about them floating around out there.
